Hello! Thank you for your interest in holding an event at Hodgepodge! We've recently changed our rental rates and policies, so please review the information below, even if you are already familiar with events at Hodgepodge.
Private Full Shop Rentals
$150 per hour + Staff Costs, Pricing increases to $200 an hour after midnight and $250 an hour on holidays A $100 non-refundable deposit is required for the space to be reserved for your event.
Events must be a 3 hour minimum and begin after 7pm. All rental times include set-up/breakdown. Extra rental charges will be applied to clients who set-up before rental time begins, or occupy rental space past contracted rental end time. Arrange event times accordingly.
We have this Rental Space Package available:
- Hodgepodge will close to the public during your event.
- Full Shop capacity is 189, which is the legal limit.
Full Shop contains the Bistro Area (7 small tables, 14 chairs, small open space) and Gallery (capacity is 100 without furniture, has 55 chairs, one large communal table, and one smaller rectangular table, 6 tables, which can become half tables) and access to two restrooms
Staff Costs - If you'd like to have Hodgepodge Coffee and Food service available to your guests, 2 staff members are required per hour of service at $15 / hour per staff member.
If you do not wish to have Hodgepodge Coffee and Food service available to your guests, 1 staff member is required as chaperone for your event at $15 / hour for the duration of your event.
Nonprofits with a valid 501(c)3 letter will be eligible for a 25% discount.
Other important information:
Only beer and wine are permitted by our license. Liquor is only permitted if you hire a licensed bartender for your event. Advance notice is required.
Art may not be removed from the walls unless it is in physical danger. We have a binding agreement with our artists to display their work. The work in our Gallery changes every season.
Hodgepodge’s Kitchen, Counter Area, Ice Machine, Oven, and Appliances are not available to rental clients.
We cannot provide ice or supplies to your event.
The only sound system available is Pandora for Business, which you may utilize or have turned off for your event. We do have an auxiliary input and can play a playlist from your device, but the hookup is in the kitchen, so Hodgepodge is not responsible for the safety and well-being of your device. We do not have lighting equipment, playback systems or microphones available for your event.
Our parking is very limited. Overflow parking is currently available in the Jiffy Grocery empty lot across Moreland Avenue. Please do not park in the store’s lot next to HP. Carpooling, taxis, public transportation, and Uber or Lyft are earnestly encouraged for your guests.
We do not provide security guards for events. The client must obtain their own security services for their events if they wish that service.

Once you submit your Rental Inquiry Form, you will receive an email regarding the availability of your requested date, and instructions on how to continue with the rental process.
